Merchant Terms: payments, fees, and settlement

These terms apply when you apply for, or use, a GetPay merchant account. They add to the Terms of Service.

Last updated 11 October 2026

1. Onboarding and review

To accept payments you must submit a merchant application with your business details, applicant identity details, identity and business documents, and settlement details. Our staff review every application. We may ask for more information, approve, or decline an application, and we are not required to approve any application. Approval can be limited to particular payment methods or features.

You confirm that the information and documents you submit are accurate, belong to you or your business, and that you will tell us promptly when they change.

2. Accepting payments

  • PKR wallet and QR payments (JazzCash, Easypaisa, OneQR) are processed through our payment service provider. These payments are in Pakistani rupees only and must be completed within the time limit shown at checkout.
  • USDT payments are BEP20 transfers on BNB Smart Chain to the address shown on the invoice. Blockchain transfers cannot be reversed by GetPay. A transfer of the wrong token, on the wrong network, or of the wrong amount may not be credited and may not be recoverable.
  • Your customers pay on a GetPay hosted checkout page. White-label checkout on your own domain is available only when we enable it for your account and approve the domain.
  • Test API keys create test payments that never contact a provider and never credit a balance.

3. When a payment is complete

Only release goods or services after GetPay reports the payment as paid, through the dashboard, the API, or a signed webhook. A customer being redirected back to your site, a screenshot, or an SMS is not proof of payment. Creating a payment is not a payment.

4. Balances and settlement

Your GetPay ledger shows three balances:

BalanceMeaning
PendingConfirmed payments, after the fee, that have not yet been released. Pending funds cannot be withdrawn.
AvailableFunds released from pending that you can withdraw.
ReservedFunds held for a withdrawal that is being processed.

Funds move from pending to available only through a settlement release that GetPay performs. The timing of settlement depends on our provider’s settlement to GetPay and on risk review, and it is shown in your dashboard. GetPay does not promise instant settlement. USDT payments currently remain in pending until a USDT settlement process is announced.

5. Withdrawals

You can request a withdrawal from your available balance to the settlement method approved on your account, when withdrawals are enabled for your account. The requested amount is reserved while it is processed. A withdrawal that fails or is not completed is returned to your available balance. Make sure the recipient details are correct: a payout sent to the details you provided may not be recoverable.

Changes to a USDT payout address require review before they take effect.

6. Fees

GetPay charges the fees shown for your account in the dashboard at the time a payment or withdrawal is created. The fee is fixed on that payment or withdrawal when it is created and is not recalculated later. If we change your fee schedule, the new fees apply only to payments and withdrawals created after the change, and we will notify you in advance. Network fees for USDT payouts are paid by GetPay and are not charged to you as a separate merchant fee unless your fee schedule says so.

7. Refunds and disputes

You are responsible for your own refund and cancellation policy and for handling your customers’ complaints. GetPay does not currently offer a refund function in the dashboard or API. If a provider or payment network reverses or refunds a payment, or raises a dispute, we may record it against your account and you agree to cooperate and to cover any amount that is reversed. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. Your obligations

  • Sell only what you described in your application, from the website you registered, and follow the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Publish clear prices, delivery terms, a refund policy, and contact details to your customers.
  • Keep API secret keys on your server only. Never put them in a mobile app, browser JavaScript, or a public repository.
  • Verify webhook signatures and treat duplicate notifications as the same event.
  • Comply with the laws that apply to your business, including tax and consumer protection law.

9. Account controls

We may disable payments, withdrawals, or white-label checkout for your account, freeze the account, or decline a withdrawal while we review activity that appears fraudulent, unusual, prohibited, or that our provider or a regulator asks us to review. Every such action is recorded in our audit log. We will tell you what we need from you to resolve it, unless we are not allowed to.
