1. Prohibited businesses
You may not use GetPay to accept payments for, or in connection with:
- Anything illegal in Pakistan or in the place where you or your customers are located.
- Gambling, betting, lotteries, or games of chance played for money.
- Adult content or sexual services.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and their parts.
- Narcotics, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and unlicensed medicines.
- Counterfeit, stolen, or infringing goods, and pirated software or media.
- Pyramid, Ponzi, or “get rich quick” schemes, and guaranteed-return investments.
- Unlicensed money transfer, currency exchange, or cryptocurrency exchange services.
- Fake reviews, followers, documents, or identities, and hacking or spam services.
- Collecting payments for another business that has not been approved by GetPay (payment aggregation).
2. Restricted categories
These need our written approval before you accept payments, and may need extra documents: charities and donations, travel and ticketing, pre-orders and subscriptions, digital goods with resale value, education with advance fees, and high-value goods.
3. Prohibited conduct
- Giving false information or documents, or applying on someone else’s behalf without authority.
- Processing payments that do not relate to a genuine sale of the goods or services you registered.
- Splitting transactions to avoid limits, or cycling funds through your own account.
- Charging customers hidden fees or failing to deliver what was paid for.
- Attacking, overloading, or reverse-engineering the platform, or sharing API keys.
4. Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been breached we may decline an application, disable payments or withdrawals, freeze the account, close it, and report the activity where the law requires. Our payment provider may also apply its own restrictions.
5. Reporting abuse
To report a merchant you believe is misusing GetPay, email [email protected] with the payment reference and what happened.
